A banned motorist who was caught driving in a major Basildon road has been fined hundreds of pounds.
Florin Eduard Balan, of Church Street, Dagenham, was caught driving in East Mayne while disqualified on August 29.
The 32-year-old admitted the offence when he appeared at Basildon Magistrates' Court on October 13 and was fined £415.

Balan must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £166 and £105 prosecution costs.
He has been banned from driving for 6 months.
