Police cut through a front door of a home as part of drugs raids across Billericay and Wickford.

Officers searched the homes yesterday morning and say two men and a woman were in custody for questioning in connection with the cocaine raids.

Yesterday on Facebook, a spokesman for Essex Police - Basildon District said: "This morning, The Billericay and Wickford Community Policing team, with assistance from Basildon Town Team, the Operational Support Group and Castle Point officers, have executed three warrants in both Billericay and Wickford in relation to the supply of cocaine.

"Two males and one female remain in custody for questioning. Also this morning, Police Community Support Officers Grant and Edwards ran into the 'Wickford in Bloom' team. Despite the rain, they continued their brilliant work brightening up the town."
