POLICE are continuing to appeal for the public’s help to identify an injured man who was involved in a serious crash in south Essex.

Officers were called to Dock Road, in Grays, at around 5:15pm following a serious crash involving two cars, a Volkswagen and a Kia.

Police at the scene were told that one person had fled from one of the vehicles.

The force is continuing to try and locate this person, to ensure their welfare.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are continuing to appeal for the public’s help to identify a member of the public who was involved in a collision in Grays on Saturday (12 November).

“Officers were called to Dock Road at around 5:15pm following a serious collision involving two cars, a Volkswagen and a Kia. Officers at the scene were told that one person had fled from one of the vehicles.

“Since the collision, we have carried out multiple enquiries to identify this person including contacting hospitals across Essex.

“To be clear, we want to identify this person to ensure their welfare. We need to identify who they are to ensure they receive medical attention.

“If anyone has any further information, please contact us on 101 using reference number 1298 of 12 November.
