A YOUNG teenage boy was left with facial injuries after reportedly being attacked by a man in a city centre fast-food restaurant.
Essex Police have launched an investigation after a 13-year-old boy was assaulted in KFC, in Southend High Street, at about 6.25pm on October 20.
The force’s officers have suggested he suffered injuries to his face after being attacked by a man.
An image of a man the police would like to speak to in connection with their investigation has now been released.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “He is a white man and wore a blue hooded top and was carrying a Tesco carrier bag.
“Anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incident can contact us and quote incident 994 or 20 October.
“Contact us by calling 101, submitting a live report on our website by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday between 10am and 9pm.”
