A MYSTERY film crew set up at Southend Airport over the weekend working on a new film.
The airport as closed on Friday from 10am to 8pm to allow for the film crew and actors to film various scenes on the airport runway and terminal buildings.

The project is shrouded in mystery, with the airport currently staying tight-lipped on what was being filmed.
Below are a series of photos of the film crews at work on the airport runway.
One actor can be seen dressed up as an airline pilot and while another is dressed as an air hostess.
