Police are appealing for the public's help to identify a man in connection with an ongoing burglary investigation in Westcliff.

Officers were called to the address in Genesta Road shortly before midnight on September 11 following reports of a residential burglary.

The victim was woken up by a noise downstairs and when they reviewed their CCTV cameras, they have seen an unidentified man entering the house via their window.

Video doorbell footage also saw the suspect attempt to open the victim's car door.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are releasing an image if a man we want to speak with in connection with this investigation. If you know who he is, or have any further information, please contact us.
