A Westcliff pub where a dad was killed in a fatal attack will remain shut until after the funeral, bosses have announced.
The Lamb and Lion Pub in Station Road will remain closed until after the funeral for Dave Peck, 51.
The pub also announced on social media a procession will start and finish from the venue.
Mr Peck died after being assaulted inside the Lamb and Lion pub in Station Road at around 6.40pm last Friday.
The business is also raising £10,000 for Mr Peck's family. A post on Facebook from the pub said: "As a mark of respect to Dave's family the Lamb and Lion will remain closed until the funeral is held.
"The funeral is to start and finish at the lamb and lion, at the families request the Lamb will then open its doors once more. All of the plans laid are subject to change of course so please keep updated on our Facebook page.
