FANS desperate to see Micky Flanagan crashed the Southend Theatres webpage today in a desperate bid to buy tickets.

Micky Flanagan, one of British comedy’s biggest stars, heading to the Cliffs Pavilion for a limited run of four warm up shows later this month.

Tickets for the show son January 23, 24 and 25 cost £35.


The Southend Theatres webpage was briefly down earlier today as fans clamoured to get hold of the limited number of tickets.

Starting his comedy career in 1997, the Londoner began to make waves after performing at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Big Value Comedy Show in 2001.

His debut full-length show, What Chance Change?, took place in 2006, and he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards a year later.

Since then, he has become one of the most-loved comedians in the UK, also frequently appear on TV panel shows such as Mock The Week and The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year.
