Police have discovered a basket full of "stolen" Tesco shopping in the boot of a damaged car during a stop in Basildon.
The car was pulled over by officers in the town last night (January 23) after police noticed its condition.
A photo shared by police shows severe damage around one of the car's front wheels.
After it was stopped, police say they found the stolen Tesco food shop in the car boot - still in the basket.
