A Bentley careered off the road and hit a telegraph pole, knocking it out of the ground.
The car crashed into the pole at roughly 10am this morning, with the vehicle left damaged at the side of Mountnessing Road, Billericay.
Work is taking place today in a bid to remove the telegraph pole.

Electricity for residents on the road was only out for a total of 90 minutes before being re-connected by UK power networks.
The cause of the accident is under investigation; however, the police have said no-one has been seriously injured and there are no disruptions to the main routes.
