SOUTHEND-born Holby City star Lee Mead has announced his engagement ot his girlfriend of four years.
Lee Mead, 41, and Issy Szumniak are getting married.
The couple revealed their engagement on social media yesterday.
Taking to Twitter on February 5, Mr Mead said: “So this happened today, and my beautiful Issy said yes.

Mead, played Ben 'Lofty' Chiltern in Holby City from 2016 to 2019, shared a selfie with his new fiancée who was beaming as she held up ring finger for the camera.
Lee Mead shot to stardom by bagging the lead role in the West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat after winning the Any Dream Will Do talent show in 2007.
