An armed gang tried to forced its way into a home in Southend, causing damage to a door.
The three men tried to break into the property in North Avenue, Southend at around 5.30pm yesterday armed with a brick and knife.
Damage was caused to the front door of the property but they weren’t able to get in and then left the area in a grey 4x4 vehicle.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
