A shed fire in Pitsea spread to four gardens and damaged the outside of a home.
Fire crews were called to a shed fire in Bradbourne Way, Pitsea at 12:38pm yesterday afternoon.
The firefighters found a shed fire had spread along the fence line of four gardens and was beginning to affect the windows and facias of a house.

Crews worked quickly to prevent the fire spreading into the house and further gardens and the firefighters extinguished the fire by 1:04pm.

A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "The cause of the fire was accidental due to an electrical fault.
"The rear of the house suffered a cracked window and doors as well as damage to the fascias and external cladding. Several fence panels and a garden were destroyed in the fire."
