A TEENAGER has been left with life-changing injuries following a stabbing in Westcliff.

Essex Police is investigating an assault at around 5:45pm yesterday, near to the Westcliff Hotel in Westcliff Parade.

An 18-year-old has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after suffering stab wounds to his back.

A 16-year-old girl also sustained injuries but were less serious.

The girl also had several rings stolen by what police believe was two men and a woman.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating an assault in Westcliff which has left a man “with life-changing injuries.

“We believe an 18-year-old man had been assaulted near to the Westcliff Hotel in Westcliff Parade at around 5.45pm yesterday, Wednesday February 22.

“It has been reported they were attacked by two men and a woman, and the girl had several rings stolen.

“Our enquiries are ongoing.
