Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash involving a pedestrian and a car in south Essex.

Officers were called to London Road in West Thurrock at around 7.45am on January 14 after reports of a fail to stop collision, where a pedestrian was injured.

The female pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-changing.

The car involved in the crash failed to stop at the scene and police are appealing for the public's help in identifying this vehicle.
