A MUSICAL at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend has been delayed after a crash on the M25.

Menopause the Musical 2 will start at 8pm instead of the advertised 7:30pm start following a serious M25 crash.

Part of the major motorway was shut at junction 30 (A13) earlier today after a crash involving two lorries.

This caused heavy congestion and severe delays across parts of south Essex.

As a result, Southend Theatres announced the show tonight has been delayed.

A spokesman for the Southend Theatres said: “Due to congestion caused by an accident on the M25 this evenings performance of Menopause the Musical 2 will now commence at 8pm instead of the advertised 7:30pm start.

“We look forward to welcoming you to the Cliffs Pavilion and hope you enjoy the show.”
