A number of upcoming south Essex road closures have been announced by the county council:

Kents Hill Road in Benfleet will be shut from its junction with High Road for a distance of about 70m on April 1 for 16 days.

The closure is required while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.


Cranes Industrial Estate slip road to the A127 in Basildon is closing from its junction with Gardiners Link Roundabout to its junction with A127 on April 10 for four nights.

The road will be shut from 9pm to 5am while telecom works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.


A no left-hand turn is set to be temporarily introduced in Paycocke Road, Basildon, from its junction with East Mayne into Paycocke Road. The lane will be closed for a distance of about 95m in a westerly direction.

The restriction will be in place for 15 days from April 14 while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.


Beeches Road in Rawreth will be closed from a point about 525m south west then north west of its junction with Highlands Road for one day on April 4.

This is while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.


Dunton Road in Basildon is set to close for 12 days from April 24 while ground investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. 


Laindon's High Road is closing from its junction with Little Oxcroft to its junction with Durham Road on March 28 for two nights.

The closure will be in place from 9pm to 5am while remedial works are undertaken by Cadent.
