The Toby Carvery on Southend seafront re-opened last week after closing for several weeks for a huge refurbishment.
The Halfway House Toby Carvery in Eastern Esplanade closed from February 13 for the revamp.
Customers were welcomed back inside the popular restaurant on Thursday (March 23).
The chain were tight-lipped about their works at the time, but have now revealed the new look.
The makeover included brightening up the dining space with an updated colour scheme and "cosier" atmosphere.

A spokesman for Toby Carvery Halfway House said: "We were thrilled to reopen the doors to the Home of the Roast last Thursday, March 23, and welcome back new and returning guests to our beautiful, refurbished restaurant.
“The works focused on opening up the inside of the restaurant, from knocking down walls to brighten up the dining space to updating the colour scheme inside to create an even cosier and inviting atmosphere.
"We hope our guests love the new look as much as we do!"
