THE devastated friends and family of a “happy and loving” 25-year-old who passed away following a sudden seizure have launched a fundraiser to help fund her funeral.

Chloe Day, from Canvey, was born six weeks prematurely and had suffered from a number of complications since birth.

Throughout her life she battled a complex form of epilepsy known as Dravet syndrome, cerebral palsy, a form of dementia, as well as being non-verbal and autistic.

The 25-year-old lived at home with her parents, pet cats and dogs, and absolutely loved the Teletubbies.

Sadly, Chloe passed away on Saturday after having a unexpected fit, shocking her friends and family.

Her heartbroken mum, Tracey Day, described her daughter Chloe as her world.

She said: “I have no words for how special Chloe was because she was just the most amazingly happy, bright, and loving special young lady ever.

“Anyone who knew her always said no matter what this world threw at her, she always had a smile and a hug for everyone.

“She was and will always be my whole world.”

A GoFundMe has since been set up by her family and friends in a bid to support Tracey and her husband Raymond through this devastating time.

Tracey's best friend Lyn Saddington said: “Chloe was a beautiful gentle soul who loved her family and had a smile for everyone.

“She may have had her disabilities, but she always tried her best to do things.

“She was always up to something cheeky and made a lot of people smile with her antics.

“Chloe deserves the best send-off as she was a living angel, and it is the last thing we can do for her.

“She was an inspiration to those who needed to overcome a difficulty.

“Her mum and dad are struggling as the only life they knew was caring for Chloe, and now they suddenly don’t have her.

“We are all heartbroken but want to give this beautiful angel the send-off she deserves.”
