These heart-achingly sweet pooches at Dogs Trust Basildon are looking for homes to call their own.

Buddy

Buddy is a seven-year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is a sensitive lad, looking for a quiet, peaceful forever home.

He is looking for a home with no more than two patient owners who are happy to take it slow with helping him to settle in. He is not a fan of other dogs, and he is happy to wear his muzzle when out on walks. He will need to be the only pet in the home with no visiting children.

Charlotte

Charlotte Breed is a three-year-old Greyhound who staff at the centre describe her as 'a lively girl who is full of character, guaranteed to make you laugh'.

She loves to zoom and a have game of fetch so she will need access to a secure garden to burn off some energy. She can be worried by traffic and loud noises so will benefit from living in a quiet area. She could live with another similar dog, pending a successful dog meet at the centre.

She cannot live with cats or small furries. Charlotte is trained to wear her muzzle and is kept on lead when out on walks.

Cody

Cody is a one-year-old Cocker Spaniel who an extremely lively young boy looking for an active home in a quiet location.

Ideally, he would love living with new owners who are interested in doing either scent work, obedience, or agility as he loves using his brain and being outdoors.

Curly Wurly

Curly Wurly is a four-year-old Collie cross who is a gorgeous boy, looking for a new home to call his own.

Once settled and comfortable with his new owners, he will become affectionate, but also quite attached and for this reason everyone in the home will need to be equally involved in his daily routine. 

Elvis

Elvis is a seven month old Belgium Malinois who has heaps of potential and responds very well to positive reinforcement training.

He will make a great companion for someone who is passionate about activities such as tracking, agility and/or obedience.
