Police and ambulance crews are on the scene of a serious crash on a major Essex road.
The A12 Londonbound is blocked between junction 13 (Ingatestone/B1002) and junction 12 (Shenfield/A1023) this evening rush hour after a serious crash.
According to Essex County Council's traffic control, a van has overturned on one of the exit slip roads.
Essex Police have said northbound traffic will also be held to allow the air ambulance to attend the scene.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are currently on scene of a serious collision, just before Junction 12 Southbound of the A12.
"Emergency services remain on scene and we ask those planning to travel this way to find an alternative route."
