NINETIES pop sensations East 17 are set to make a special appearance at a 90s boyband tribute show at Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion.
Terry Coldwell, Joe Livermore and Robbie Craig will be performing at The Ultimate Boyband Party Show on Thursday, September 28.
The event, which starts at 7.30pm, is celebrating the music of the world’s biggest boybands from that decade, including Westlife, Take That and Backstreet Boys.
Taking to Facebook to make this announcement, Southend Theatres said: “Exciting news.
“East 17 will be special guests for The Ultimate Boyband Party Show on September 28 at the Cliffs Pavilion.
“Cue the wind machine and get ready to celebrate the 90s!”
People were quick to comment their excitement on the post, with one saying: “OMG, we should go to this!”
Presented by live music promoters Cuffe and Taylor in association with David Michael Productions, the show promises to be an “unparalleled night of non-stop nostalgia” and is going to be the “essential feel-good night out”.
Ticket holders are set to travel back in time when Blue, Boyzone, NSync and many others dominated the charts.
It is set to feature more than 30 pop songs, such as One Love, Words, Flying Without Wings and I Want It That Way.
Tickets for the show start at £30.50 and go down to £23.50, depending on what price band is selected.
