POLICE hunting criminals in south Essex have called on the public to help them track down a number of men they want to speak to in connection with a series of offences.

The offences police want to speak to these men in connection with include firearms offences, serious offences in Wickford, failure to meet court order conditions and failure to return to prison.

We have compiled a list of the men police are still searching for.

Edward Smith

Edward Smith, 30, from Wickford, is wanted in connection with multiple investigations linked with burglary and firearms offences.

He has connections across Essex including Chelmsford and across Uttlesford and is described as a white man of a slim build and around 175cm in height.

Police believe he is with Keiron Wilson, 28, from Heybridge, and driving a silver Nissan Navara.

Detective Chief Inspector Rob Huddleston said “We need to speak with Wilson and Smith in connection with multiple offences across the county. These offences include burglaries in Chelmsford and Stebbing.

“It’s important that if you see the two men together or separately, you call us right away on 999 and we ask the public not to confront them.”

Essex Police searching for wanted man Jake Pittaway

Police are appealing for the public's help to find 26-year-old Jake Pittaway, who is wanted on recall to prison. 

Pittaway, who also goes by O’Sullivan, has connections across Southend, Tilbury, South Ockendon, Clacton and Dagenham. 

The 26-year-old is described as a white man, around 5ft 9in, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Ilie Vacaru

Officers are hunting Vacaru as he failed to meet the conditions of a court order.

He was issued the order on April 18 in relation to an offence he committed abroad.

Vacaru is 45 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, of slim build, and has connections to the Basildon and Barking areas.
