Canvey firefighters stopped a blaze from spreading fast after a car went up in flames in the early hours.
Crews rushed to the fire in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 22).
Wearing breathing apparatus, the firefighters got to work quickly to extinguish the fire as it was spreading to a nearby car.

A Canvey Fire Station spokesman said: "Although a surrounding vehicle was affected by the fire, the crews quick thinking and actions stopped it spreading completely."
The fire station is looking for more on-call firefighters on the island.
Anyone who wants to apply to become an on-call firefighter is urged to visit join.essex-fire.gov.uk/on-call.
