RAIL commuters are set to be faced with cancelled or delayed services this morning after a line blockage.

c2c has announced that due to a fault with the signalling system between Barking and London Fenchurch Street, the route is jammed.

As a result, services across the whole network “may be delayed or revised”.

 

One frustrated commuter said: “Thanks to whatever is going on at Barking, I’m now going to be late.

“Stuck on the train at West Horndon with the possibility of having to get off.”

According to the operator’s journey checker, the 7.26am service from Fenchurch Street to Laindon is cancelled.

As well as this, the 8.03am train from Laindon to Fenchurch Street is also cancelled.
