Drivers are facing delays on a major motorway in south Essex this afternoon due to an overturned car after a crash.
Three lanes (of four) on the M25 anticlockwise were blocked with an overturned car between junction 28 (A12/Brook St) and junction 27 (M11).

All lanes are now open however drivers on the major motorway are still experiencing long delays of up to 45 minutes, which are expected to ease.
There is about four miles of congestion on approach.
There are also delays clockwise with onlookers, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.
