A MUCH-LOVED pub in Benfleet has ceased trading, the pub confirms.
The Woodmans Arms, in Rayleigh Road, Benfleet has announced the "closure of trade at The Woodmans Arms".
Bosses released a statement on Facebook this afternoon confirmed the news after rumours on social media.
They wrote: "It is with great sadness that we have to announce the closure of trade at The Woodmans Arms.
"We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those that have supported us since March 2020.
"It is time to move on to pastures new."
