Aras and his teams regularly support homeless charities, including Support Vulnerable People (SVP) in Westcliff, and give free haircuts to homeless people.

“We have a group of 80 homeless people with whom we cut their hair every couple of weeks. One staff member goes out every Monday goes to a homeless charity to cut the people’s hair," he said.

“They are always so happy after and feel better in themselves. We do our best to support the local homeless people.

"There was one occasion when a man came in the salon and quickly walked out again. I asked why and a member of staff said they asked to have a haircut but the staff member said they were busy and asked them to come back later.  We caught on camera me going back out to find the gentleman and invite him back in to have his hair cut.”
