A PEST control service has claimed there has been an influx of bed bug issues in Southend.
Southend City Pest Control has said bed bugs is becoming a more common issue in Southend – following the ever-growing problem across parts of Europe.
They claimed, the service is seeing a 30 per cent rise in Southend compared to previous years.
Holidaymakers have recently been warned of the risk of bedbugs, after reports of bed bug infestations in the UK and abroad rose in the last few weeks.
In a post on Facebook, Southend City Pest Control wrote: “Such a beautiful bed yet unfortunately it has been thoroughly infested with Bed Bugs with hundreds of bed bugs at various stages of growth. Don’t leave issues until it gets to this stage.
“Contact us asap and get a professional treatment. With the current influx of bed bug issues, we are seeing a 30 per cent rise in Southend compared to previous years.
“Bed bug infestations are easily spread, if you have an issue, please reduce the amount of places you visit and avoid using public transport to prevent spreading your bed bug infestation.”
