A FIRE in Basildon has seen police launch an appeal as firefighters dealt with the blaze this morning.
Officers were called by the fire service shortly after 6am today who reported a fire in Elizabeth Way.
It is believed the fire itself had been started shortly before 5.15am.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Emergency services are currently on scene, and we are working alongside the fire service to establish its cause.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
