Part of the A127 was reportedly shut in south Essex due to a "hole in the road".
UPDATE 7.30pm 25/10: All lanes reopened at the Fortune of War roundabout following earlier emergency repairs to the hole in the road.
One lane had been closed on the A127 Southend-bound at the Fortune of War roundabout this afternoon (October 25).
According to Essex County Council's traffic control, this was due to a hole in the road.

Traffic was slow moving in the area with the AA reporting "severe delays"
