DRIVERS were stuck waiting in queues on a major road this evening as police closed the carriageway.
The M25 was closed just before the QE2 Bridge, leaving drivers stuck waiting for 40 minutes.
The Dartford Bridge was closed and traffic was held from about 8.30pm to 9.10pm.
The road was closed while police dealt with an incident on the bridge and traffic is now moving.
The details of the incident remain unknown.
Essex Police has been contacted for more information.
