BASILDON train station has re-opened after a “police incident” this morning.
At around 6:15am, this morning, c2c bosses stated police were at Basildon station dealing with an incident, and as a result Basildon will not be served.
However, an update has since been provided to say that the station is now back open, and trains are running.

In a tweet, c2c said: “Disruption caused by the police dealing with an incident at Basildon has now ended.
“Services are no longer affected by this problem.”
Photos this morning showed a cordon in place at the station.
It is still unclear at this stage what the incident the police were responding to was.
However, the British Transport Police has been contacted for comment by the Echo.
