Southend Airport has unveiled its largest winter schedule in four years with flights to a wide range of popular destinations.

The airport is extending an unseasonably warm invitation to travel agents and tour operators looking to offer travellers winter getaways as it has revealed its winter schedule.

Southend Airport’s diverse range of winter destinations with easyJet caters to all types of travellers, from city breaks to Amsterdam and Paris to the alpine beauty of Geneva and Grenoble and the stunning shores of Alicante - not forgetting the snowy charm of Lapland with Titan Airways in winter 2024.

A spokesman commented: "Whether you’re looking for a couple’s getaway or a family escape, these winter destinations reflect London Southend’s commitment to passengers, travel agents and tour operators looking to take advantage of well-earned winter breaks from their local airport.

"London Southend’s strategic advantage lies not just in its destinations, but also in its connectivity. The airport’s purpose-built train station is just 100 steps from the terminal, ensuring swift access to and from central London."

This winter schedule reveal comes after the return of popular easyJet flights to Paris and Alicante on Sunday, with an exclusive livestream of the inaugural flights watched by more than 8,000 enthusiasts.

The spokesman added: "With its expanded schedule, a robust network of tour operator and travel agent partnerships, and unbeatable connectivity, Southend is ready to redefine winter travel."

It also follows easyJet's release of its 2024 summer schedule which included flights to Palma de Mallorca, Faro, Malaga and Amsterdam.

Holidaymakers expressed disappointment as Alicante and Paris were not added to the summer schedule, however the airport team remains hopeful these will be included in the coming weeks.
