A renowned act who wow crowds with a display of light, dance and music is set to takeover a south Essex shopping centre this Christmas.

The show-stopping LED light drummers will take centre stage at Eastgate shopping centre in Basildon on Saturday, December 16, according to the centre's website, with an electrifying performance which promises to mesmerise shoppers and visitors of all ages.

The highly-anticipated show, which starts at 11 am, will feature the famous act dressed in illuminated costumes while they create a synchronised display of rhythmic precision and dazzling lights - with their LED drumsticks leaving streaks of vibrant colours.

A statement on the Eastgate website says: "These performers bring a unique blend of music, light, and dance to the shopping centre, making it an event that transcends traditional entertainment. Their high-energy drumming and choreography will have the audience on their feet, clapping and cheering for more.

"As the drummers perform, the atmosphere will become charged with excitement and Christmas spirit. Families, friends, and shoppers alike will be drawn to this captivating show, making it a perfect prelude to the holiday season."

They added: "Don’t miss this extraordinary performance that fuses technology, music, and visual artistry into a one-of-a-kind Christmas spectacle."

The shopping centre is hosting a number of festive events this holiday season, including the annual Santa's Grotto from November 18 - where children can meet Father Christmas himself for free.

A Christmas fun day, also on November 18, is set to feature performances around the centre with candy cane stilt walkers, The Grinch, walking-talking nutcrackers, and elves from 11am to 3.30pm.
