Stolen cars destined for Dubai have been discovered in a shipping container intercepted by Essex Police.
The Toyota and Lexus cars were uncovered by officers following research and development by the force's stolen vehicle intelligence unit.
The specialist unit intercepted the container "destined for Dubai" today, with vehicles stolen at the end of last month from Essex and London found inside by officers.

Police enquiries are ongoing and owners of the cars are set to be informed. Enquiries ongoing.
A spokesman for the unit posted on X, formerly Twitter: "Following research and development by EP SVIU we intercepted a container destined for Dubai. Stolen vehicles from Essex Police and Met Police areas were discovered, all stolen at the end of October.
"Owners will be informed. Enquiries ongoing."
