MEET Socks... the newest member of the c2c team who is "helping check everyone's tickets".
Socks, the cat, has regularly been visiting Thorpe Bay station for the past few weeks.
c2c bosses say he loves cuddles and attention from staff and customers.
He loves to sit on the ticket gates and "help check everyone's tickets". Socks also loves to have a sleep on his "lunch break".
The adorable cat has since begun to go viral on social media as commuters fall in love with him.
Staff have spoken to the owner who is happy for Socks to continue to visit.
A spokesman for c2c said: "Socks the cat has regularly been visiting Thorpe Bay station for the past few weeks, he loves cuddles and attention from staff and customers.
"Station staff have spoken to the owner who is happy for Socks to come and visit and help out at the station for the day.
"We are really pleased to see how much people enjoy him being around for the morning commute."
