NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven south Essex establishments; the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The scheme gives businesses a rating from five to zero, with five being hygiene standards are very good, and zero being urgent improvement is required.
Here are the establishments in south Essex that have been awarded a new hygiene rating:
Southend:
Daily Organics, at 161 High Street, Southend was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 11.
Ninos, at 26 Alexandra Street, Southend was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 11.
Kids Kingdom at Garon Park, Southend was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 8.
RedChilliezs at 629 London Road, Westcliff was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 30.
Calypso at 1350 London Road, Leigh was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 24.
Sweet Crush at 298 London Road, Westcliff was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 10
The Garden at 50a Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 10
