A keen-eyed PCSO spotted a stolen car while out on patrol in Southend this afternoon, which will be returned to its rightful owner.
PCSO Jones was on foot patrol in Cromer Road when a white Nissan Micra caught her attention. She checked the Police National Computer (PNC) and discovered the vehicle had been stolen on 14 November.
Police seized the vehicle and will conduct a forensic examination. Once complete, the car will be returned to its owner.
A spokesman for Essex Police in Southend said: "Today PCSO Jones was on foot patrol in Southend when a vehicle in Cromer Road caught her attention.
"After checking on the Police National Computer (PNC) she discovered that the vehicle was stolen on 14 November. The vehicle has been recovered and after forensic examination will be returned to it's owner."
