AS MARSH Farm’s £170,000 ice rink has been unveiled as part of the South Woodham Ferrers children’s adventure park’s Christmas theatre-based experience that is one of the best in the country, we look inside its winter wonderland.

Since November 18, the magic of the annual two-and-a-half-hour Father Christmas experience, that has been running for ten years, sees families step inside the elf academy where they’ll learn what it takes to be on Santa’s team.

They will then enter Mrs Claus’ kitchen where gingerbread aromas are sent flying around the air and get the opportunity to build a gingerbread person, enter a magical snow forest and meet the big man himself.

There is also a chance for the boys and girls to make their own teddy bear in the workshop to take home with them.

In addition, ticket holders can access exciting attractions, such as the £170,000 ice rink, funfair rides, a “spectacular” train ride and indoor soft play.
