NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five Southend establishments; the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The scheme gives businesses a rating from five to zero, with five being hygiene standards are very good, and zero being urgent improvement is required.
Here are the establishments in Southend that have been awarded a new hygiene rating: Southend:
KFC, at Greyhound Trading Park, Greyhound Way, Southend was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 8.
Chris' Famous Fish, at Chris Famous Fish, 68 Bridgwater Drive, Westcliff was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 20.
Imis Spice Kitchen at 500 Sutton Road, Southend was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 25.
Namcha at Unit A, Chalkwell Park House, 700 London Road, Westcliff was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 23.
Bombay Blues at 387 London Road, Westcliff was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 23.
