Traffic was queueing this afternoon in a busy road close to Southend city centre after reports of a crash.
Drivers faced heavy traffic during the school run today in Sutton Road, Guildford Road and Greyhound Way.
According to Essex County Council traffic control, this was following reports of a crash in Sutton Road at the junction of Guildford Road, where the popular Guildford pub sits.

A spokesman tweeted: "Reports of an accident on Sutton Road B1015 at the junction of Guildford Road."
According to AA, the incident was first reported at 1.55pm.
