Snow is expected to fall across Southend this morning as wintry showers are expected to lead to some icy patches.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning yesterday for ice and snow from 5pm on Friday until 10am today.
Hail is also expected in Southend at around 11am.
The experts warn residents to expect some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
