A CITY centre bank is collecting donations to support a Southend charity as part of a campaign this winter.

Southend Metro Bank has appealed for in-store donations to help support The One Love Project.

The One Love Project, based in Southend, is a charity which supplies food and support to local people in need of help.

"“We would encourage everyone to give a little this Christmas to help put a little magic back by supporting this fantastic local charity.

"I want to thank everyone in advance for their generous support."

Donations can be dropped at Metro Bank’s Southend store at G19-G21, The Victoria Centre, between the store’s opening hours on Monday to Saturday: 8.30am to 6pm; and Sunday: 11am to 5pm.
