A WOMAN has been rescued by firefighters from a car after getting stuck in water.
Essex Fire were called to Buttsbury Wash at 7:37am this morning following reports a car was stuck in the water.
On arrival, a woman was found stuck inside the vehicle. She was rescued by firefighters.

Crews are now urging drivers to avoid driving through flooded roads.
Watch manager Andy Haswell, from Brentwood Fire Station, said: “Please do not risk driving through floodwater.
"It is often deeper than you think and it really doesn’t take much water for your car to be severely damaged or for your car to float out of control, putting your life at risk.
"If you come across a flooded road, don’t take any chances, turn around and find another route."
