Police have released an image of a man they want to identify after a racially aggravated incident in Westcliff.

The victim was walking along Finchley Road at about 12.30pm on Sunday, December 10, when they reported being shouted at by a man walking towards them.

Officers are investigating this as a racially aggravated public order offence and enquiries are ongoing.

In an appeal, an Essex Police spokesman said: "We are now appealing for the public’s help to identify this man in connection with the investigation.

"If you recognise him or have any further information, please contact us quoting reference number 721 of 10 December.
