VOLUNTEERS from Havens hospices will be collecting real Christmas trees next week for a donation to the charity.
Havens hospices run an annual Christmas tree collection service which raises vital funds towards supporting children with life limiting conditions across the south Essex.
Volunteers will be collecting real trees for a donation on January 5, 6, and 7 in 2024 from the following postcodes SS0, SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8 and SS9.
A spokesman for Havens Hospices said: "Have you already started thinking about when you’re going to take down the Christmas tree?
"If you have a real tree, could you consider our Christmas Tree collection service which raises vital funds towards our care?
"Trees will be chipped and recycled to be used in the gardens at Fair Havens and Little Havens.
"Your donations will be making a huge difference to children, young people and adults who need the care and support of Havens Hospices, helping them to make every day count."
