A SOUTH Essex rail operator is offering a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for one lucky customer to propose at Fenchurch Street this Valentine’s Day.
c2c will be providing a romantic setting that has been described as “fit for a marriage proposal to remember”.
The couple will also be given a month’s free travel on the route and £150 for a special meal so they can celebrate their new life together.
Those who are interested will need to email the media team telling them a little bit about themselves, as well as why they would like to propose at London Fenchurch Street.
A spokesman for c2c said: “Fans of Brief Encounter will already be aware of the love that can be sparked by the surroundings of a train station, so what better place to pop the question than at London’s iconic Fenchurch Street station.
“The c2c team will help the hopeful proposer plan a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take place on Wednesday, February 14, with c2c providing a romantic setting fit for a marriage proposal to remember.
“The lucky couple will also be given a month’s free travel on the c2c route and £150 for a special meal so they can celebrate their new life together in style.”
All requests made to mediaenquiries@c2crail.net will need to include a telephone number so a member of the team can get in contact.
The closing date for submitting a request to be in with the chance of being the lucky winner is Wednesday, January 31.
