c2c has apologised for issues with their card machines, which have forced the company to only take cash at all stations this morning.
c2c posted on X at 8am this morning that issues with their card machines meant they are forced to suspend all card payments at all of their stations, meaning only cash can be used by morning commuters.
In the post, c2c added that the issue had been escalated to their suppliers who are "investigating the issue."
The post said: "Please use cash at our stations to purchase tickets."

Please use cash at our stations to purchase tickets.
Frustrated customers took to X and Facebook to complain to c2c about the issues, with a number of customers expressing confusion that they had been debited multiple times for a train ticket, but had not received the ticket.
c2c have been approached for comment.
