ESSEX Police officers are on the scene of a serious collision in Brentwood.
The force was called at 7.35pm today (Friday February 2)to reports of a collision in Doddinghurst Road, near to the Brentwood Leisure Centre.
The road has been closed while emergency services respond to the incident.
A man has since been arrested and multiple people have been taken to hospital.
A spokesman said: “Please avoid the area and out of respect for those involved we’d ask that people refrain from taking photos or videos.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
